Ingredients
500 grams ground beef or chicken
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper powder
2-3 green chillies chopped (optional)
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
1 teaspoon crushed ginger
1 onion finely chopped
3-4 tablespoons chopped coriander leaves
6-8 large eggs, well beaten
Equipment-
pot, wooden spoon/spatula and Large rectangle oven proof dish.
Method-
Take a medium size pot and cook the ground meat , to it add salt, black pepper powder, green chillies if using, ginger and garlic. Cook well until the meat is well browned and there is no liquid.
Preheat the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Keep aside to cool, once it is cool add to it chopped onion and chopped coriander. Mix well and add the beaten eggs, Using a wooden spoon or spatula mix well and pout it into the oven proof dish.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or till the mixture feels firm.
Remove from the oven and keep aside for about 10 minutes before cutting into medium size squares-about 2 1/2 inch squares.
Serve with hamburger buns, lettuce leaves, tomato slices, pickle slices and your favorite sauces (ketchup, chili sauce, mustard)

Another Favourite-Pepper Steak
Ingredients
- 3 pounds Sliced round steak (boneless beef slices)
- 1 medium green pepper , cut in julienne
- 1 small onion chopped thickly
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon Garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 chicken stock cube
- 1/8 teaspoon meat tenderizer
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch in 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Marinate the steak in meat tenderizer, salt, black pepper and garlic paste.
- Melt one tablespoon margarine in the flat pan with two handles on low-medium heat, and add the onions, cook till soft
- Add the steak one piece at a time.
- Cook the steak until lightly brown on both sides
- Add the stock cube and Worcestershire sauce, and cornstarch-water mixture
- Cover and cook for on low heat for 1 hour, make sure to stir at intervals of 15 mins.
- Add green pepper , stir well ,check salt and pepper and serve.
