Masala Mogo (cassava)

If you happen to go Nairobi,Kenya you must try this in a famous strip mall-Diamond Plaza

1 cassava, peeled, cut into pieces and boiled in salty water ( just like boiled  potato)
Oil to deep fry.

Deep fry the boiled cassava till golden

1 cup tamarind juice
1 Tablespoon tomato puree
1/4 teaspoon garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chilli powder ( you adjust the level of heat to your preference)

In a pot mix all the above ingredients on low heat. Add the fried cassava and mix well coating each piece . remove and serve.

The other masala mogo recipe is

2 tablespoon oil
2 tablespoon tomato paste
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 teaspoon paprika powder
salt to taste

Heat the oil and add the ingredients, mix well. Add the fried cassava pieces and mix well. Enjoy!
