Waffles!!

My son decided to make the waffles for the family for breakfast over the long weekend and poor him, he spent an hour googling for details on egg white peaks and also you tubing on beating it. Here you go my dear, detailed recipe to save you time! ?Tried to write the recipe easy for first timer cooks.

These waffles are good as a breakfast paired up with a whipping cream, fruits and maple syrup ( honey for healthier option) or cinnamon sugar or even better for dessert cravings- ice cream, chopped nuts and hot chocolate sauce, choice is yours!!

2 cups all purpose flour, sifted
4 teaspoons baking powder, sifted along with the flour
2 cups milk ( or enough to make the batter dropping consistency)
1/4 cup sugar
3 eggs separated
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/4 cup butter melted

Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl.
In another bowl (or using a stand mixer with the whisk attachment) whisk the egg whites till a firm peak forms.
Add milk, egg yolks and butter to the dry ingredients ( always mix simultaneously as you’re adding the wet ingredients to the dry ones to avoid clumps), fold in the egg whites and mix well.
Heat the waffle maker, grease it lightly and pour the mixture into it using a ladle, making sure not to overflow on the sides.
Cook till golden or use the browning control on the waffle maker.
 Enjoy!
Makes about 8 large waffles.
